  1. My daughter went on this trip. It was an awesome experience for her. She still talks about it and someday wants to return. She learned so much that without actually seeing it and feeling it, she never would have understood the impact.

The study abroad program is well worth it and the experience is priceless.

I really think it is great that you come to Europe to show the students what happend here during WWII!

I do not know if you heard of the Historical Walks that are organized in Belgium?? I come from the Netherlands and go to Belgium twice a year to walk these Historical Walks. The first one is in Februari (surrounding area of Spa/Verviers) and the second one is in December (surrounding area of Bastogne). Many people walk there in Original American Soldier gear and drive around in tanks and jeeps. Because of this and the snow it gives you an even better look of what your American Soldiers had to go through. Might be intresting for the students as well.

Also there are many groups of re-enactors who can show you and the students WWII vehicles and gear.

If you are intrested in one of these things, feel free to email me for more information!
    Greetings, Frank

  3. I’m looking into applying for this program for next summer. It looks amazing! I really hope that I get in for summer 2013!

    • You can be the first applicant for the summer 2013 program! Apply online at the MSU Study Abroad website!

I look forward to receiving your application! We leave for Europe this year in a few days–on Saturday 9 June-5 July!
